Our aim is for Techwrighter to grow into your most useful source of helpful PC-related information, and hope that you visit often to see the frequent additions we'll be making. We see ourselves as a complement to the numerous helpful Forums to be found on the Internet, and aim to provide clearly written Guides, Tips and Comment which is clearly written and as free from jargon as we can make them.
We've visited and participated in lots of internet forums and other online self-help services, and noticed the same questions being asked over and over, creating repetition, the need for 'Stickied ' forum topics, and lots of frustration amongst frequent users. We'll continue to improve Techwrighter to ensure it provides a 'One Stop Shop' where those questions and concerns can be met, so you'll have less need to cover the same ground endlessly. Please don't reproduce our articles in their entirety on your website. They are copyright content. But feel free to link to any of our articles you find useful .
Check out "Terry's take on Tech", where you'll find blunt, straightforward commentary on issues which interest Message Board and Forum dwellers. Make use of our large resource of Website links (or send some more in to us for inclusion) where you'll find the Manufacturer websites, software download links and other resources you need. Read "Site News" where you'll find news of Techwrighter's ongoing development.
We invite you to register with us and send suggestions for items we've not yet provided, or links to essential websites not yet in our lists of links. But please remember. We aim to provide the best answers possible to the commonly asked questions. We're not here to solve your individual and unique problems. That's what the various forums (and professional consultants) are there for! Membership at Techwrighter is Spam-free, and allows you to make your suggestions about how you'd like to see us meet your needs. We'll be adding Newsletters and other features as our community of members grows.
Have you ever fancied yourself as a writer? If you've read comments and articles and thought "That's clear as mud. I could do better!"
then why not do so? Join our community, become a contributor and you'll have the benefit of both your name published as a Writer and friendly, helpful Editorial advice to help with honing your skills!
We'll have occasional product reviews, plenty of helpful explanations of computer technology and useful guides to using your PC regularly appearing, as well as lists of the resources and software tools which will help you keep your PC in order.
Should you be looking for the people suitable to produce written copy for your publication or business you'll be able to contact us here, and you can expect a prompt reply!
Cheers, and thanks for coming!
